The Ana G. Méndez Medal is an award granted to an associate or bachelor’s degree graduating student in recognition of their academic achievements and outstanding participation in student associations, civic, social, and extracurricular activities. This recognition honors the graduate’s perseverance, commitment, leadership, and dedication.

Eligibility Requirements for the Ana G. Méndez Medal Nomination:

Be a graduating student from an associate or bachelor’s degree program at one of the Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) campuses.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Submit two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which must be issued by an AGMU professor.
Provide evidence of community service and volunteer work:
- The evidence must be a certificate of participation or a letter from the organization leader, preferably including completed service hours.
- Include photos, video links, or any official document related to the activity.
Provide evidence of participation in extracurricular activities, student associations, and internships:
- The evidence must be a certificate of participation or a letter from the organization or a faculty member validating participation.
- Include photos, video links, or any official document related to the activity.
Create a digital portfolio including the following documents in the specified order:
1. Cover page with full name, student ID number, name of the academic division or school, and the title: Ana G. Méndez Medal 2024.
2. Table of contents.
3. Nomination form (completed by a professor, mentor, professional counselor, or administrative staff member).
4. Resume describing academic and professional experience.
5. Nominee’s cover letter (including academic achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, and community service).
6. Two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which must be issued by an AGMU professor.
7. Evidence of community service.
8. Evidence of extracurricular activities, student associations, and internships.
9. Awards and certificates.
10. Photos (optional).
