Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) recently participated in the 2026 Annual Conference of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in Phoenix, Arizona. As an ACBSP member institution, the conference provided a strategic opportunity to strengthen institutional knowledge, exchange best practices with international peers, and continue advancing pathways toward excellence in business education.

Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) brought together international representatives from universities in Spain in Orlando for a reception led by our President, Dr. José F. Méndez Méndez, as part of an institutional initiative aimed at strengthening and advancing internationalization strategies and expanding opportunities for global academic collaboration.
PhD Communications Specialization in Strategic Communications
The doctoral program in Communications, with a specialization in Strategic Communication, offers advanced knowledge about new trends in the field of strategic communication, focused on globalization and changing technology. Using the contributions derived from various epistemological, theoretical, and methodological perspectives, the program constitutes an opportunity for interdisciplinary study and research to become a high-level professional capable of generating knowledge, understanding, and solving problems in the field of strategic communication.
This program does not lead to professional licenses in Communications. It is recommended that prospective students investigate the licensing requirements in their state or location.
Employment Opportunities
AGMU's PhD Program in Communications with a specialization in Strategic Communication will also prepare students to perform successfully in key areas such as different types of companies, government institutions (federal, state, legislative, among others), advertising agencies, public relations agencies, Media (television channels, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, audiovisual production companies, social networks, among others), non-governmental organizations, universities, among several others.

AGMU Metro Orlando Campus conducts a donation initiative as part of a community service project led by Social Work students
Social Work students and professors from Ana G. Méndez University Metro Orlando Campus delivered 237 bottles in support of people experiencing homelessness.
The activity took place at the SALT facilities in Orlando as part of a community service initiative, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to social well-being and support for vulnerable communities.
This action is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote social responsibility and active engagement within its academic community.
