Safety Measures for Graduation Day

  1. Follow the instructions of the Security staff at all times.
  2. A ticket is required for entry to the event.
  3. As an entry requirement, the Convention Center conducts security screenings at all entrances.
  4. Firearms are prohibited at the event for both graduates and guests.
  5. Sharp weapons, such as blades, chemical agents like pepper spray, or any other item considered dangerous are prohibited.
  6. A parking fee is required.
  7. Identify emergency exits and follow Security staff instructions in the event of an evacuation.
  8. Individuals with symptoms of COVID-19, influenza, or mycoplasma are encouraged to take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
  9. Ushers will be present during the event to provide guidance and ensure compliance with preventive measures.
  10. The following are not permitted:
    • Smoking inside the facilities.
    • Solid foods or beverages in glass containers within the event area.
    • The use or entry of promotional items.
    • Equipment or devices that produce loud noises, such as vuvuzelas.
    • Helium balloons inside the Convention Center.
    • Baskets, large floral arrangements, or any object that could interfere with or affect an emergency evacuation in the event area.
    • Any acts or activities that may disturb order on the premises or interrupt graduation ceremonies.
    • Graduates marching accompanied by family members or children, for safety reasons.
    • Visitors or graduates wearing masks or costumes that conceal their faces.
