Lots to Be Thankful For!

Ana G. Méndez University South Florida Campus hosted a Thanksgiving Food Drive with the generosity of CanoHealth and in collaboration with Doral Family Journal.

We were able to impact more than 200 persons from the community, especially seniors from Miami Lakes, Doral, and surrounding areas.

Joining us today and showing their support were Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid, Fred Senra President of the Miami Lakes Chamber , Tico Casamayor Public relations from the Miami Lakes Chamber, Pedro Fiallo from the American Legion and Doral Councilwoman Maureen Porras.

AGM University present at VA/Military College Education Fair

On the 7th of November, AGM University received a special invitation to participate in a college education fair organized by Mr. Polanco, the Education Services Specialist at the US Army Garrison. This event served as a valuable opportunity for AGM University to connect with the military community, showcasing our academic offerings and presenting tailored approaches to studying while in active service and for veterans.

Telemundo31 Joins AGM University to Promote Higher Education in the Community

Miami, November 6, 2023 – On Saturday, November 4, Telemundo31, a trusted source of news and information in our community, organized an informative event for anyone interested in pursuing a university education. In collaboration with AGM University, essential information was provided about the university admissions process, the FAFSA application, and job placement opportunities.

AGM University Metro Orlando at roundtable with Osceola School Board Superintendent Shanoff

Ana G. Mendez University was honored to be part of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of CFL 1st Roundtable with new Osceola County School District Superintendent Dr. Mark Shanoff. As a Hispanic Serving Institution, we are excited to partner with a County School Board that represents and educates so many of our Hispanic youth in Florida.

As Chair of the PRCCC's Education Committee, Ana G. Mendez University was represented by EVP, Nicholas Natalizio and Metro Orlando Campus Director Suheily Martinez.

Domestic Violence Forum and Gallery at AGM University Metro Orlando Campus

"The more information we provide to the community, the safer we are," said Evelyn Herrera-Jackson, director of Help Now of Osceola, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to victims of domestic violence.

AGM University, Metro Orlando campus. presented its gallery and film forum in support of domestic violence survivors. This exhibition was organized by the students and faculty of the Master of Social Work program.
