On Thursday, July 13th at 10:00 AM, the Legislative Debrief Townhall took place at the Metro Orlando Campus of Ana G. Mendez University, presented by Unidos US and Mi Familia Vota Educational Group. The event brought together Florida House Representative Johanna López from District 43 and Florida House Representative Anna Eskamani from District 42, creating an opportunity for an inclusive and productive discussion. The representatives delved into significant community issues, including Immigration, School Vouchers, Affordable Housing, Academic Freedom, and KidCare.
The growth and recognition that our institution has had in the Florida market is reflected in the most recent report published in the Tampa Business Journal, where Ana G. Méndez University (AGMU) stands out among the main private universities in this state.
Ana G. Méndez University System will form part of the USDA Selects 2023 Class of E. Kika de la Garza Fellow, a U.S. Department of Agriculture initiative to promote equity in professional development opportunities, as well as build a more diverse pipeline in public service and the agricultural sector. Yesterday, July 11th, 2023, AGM University South Florida Campus held a successful visit with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ten high school juniors and seniors were given a tour of the AGM University South Florida campus and were given important information about programs, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid. They had a great time and loved our facilities.
We anticipate that this will be a fruitful collaboration for the following academic year, and we are already planning other visits.
The White Coat Ceremony celebrated on June 22nd at AGM University Metro Orlando Campus is a cherished tradition that symbolizes the transition of students into the esteemed professions in the areas of Heath and Nursing.

South Florida Campus was happy to be part of this incredible community event and partner with the Town of Miami Lakes to give out Back to School supplies to the children of the community. This event was celebrated at the Miami Lakes Town Hall, Saturday, June 24, 2023. AGM University is proud to help children on their road to education.
This past Saturday, June 17, 2023 a remarkable event entitled "Youth Fits In" was held on the campus of AGM College Tampa Bay. This event presented by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, aimed to inspire and help young people in the Tampa Bay region overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
