"Youth Fits In" event at AGM University Tampa Bay Campus

This past Saturday, June 17, 2023 a remarkable event entitled "Youth Fits In" was held on the campus of AGM College Tampa Bay. This event presented by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay, aimed to inspire and help young people in the Tampa Bay region overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

The event was attended by a distinguished group of successful individuals from various fields such as sports, business, diversity and wellness. Attendees had the unique opportunity to learn from their experiences and gain valuable insights on how to overcome life's challenges and build a successful future.

Among them was Baltimore Orioles pitcher Mychal Givens, whose journey from humble beginnings to professional sports is a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication. Tony Selvaggio, CEO of ESmart Recycling, provided an invaluable perspective on entrepreneurship and sustainability. Marcía Alvarado, head of WGI's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, captivated the audience with remarks on promoting diversity and inclusion in a variety of settings. Carlos Garcia of Tampa Counseling and Wellness provided valuable advice on mental health and wellness. He recognized the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and emotional balance.
