AGM University to strengthen its academic offering for the new semester with 17 new programs

Students attending Ana G. Mendez University (AGMU) this fall 2021 semester beginning on August 23, will benefit from an expanded educational offering with 16 new academic programs offered in Spanish, English and bilingual in Florida, Texas, and Online campuses.

"This new academic offering is the result of an analysis to align our programs and adapt them to the needs of each region that we serve. We are committed to expanding our educational offerings in high demand areas such as business administration, health, technology, and social work”, said Dr. José E. Maldonado Rojas, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs.

At the Certificate Program level, we are launching the Patient Care Technician and Phlebotomy Technician in August at the Orlando, Tampa, and South Florida campuses. These programs can be completed through both on-campus and hybrid modalities and are taught in English or Spanish. We are also launching the Associate of Science Degrees in Paralegal Studies and Web Design, which will also be offered in both on-campus and online in English or bilingual. The bachelor’s degree in Business Administration will now offer majors in Hispanic Marketing and Digital Marketing, Communications, Digital Journalism, as well as Public Relations and Advertising, Finance and Economics and Organizational Development.

At the graduate level, we are offering new master's degrees with specializations in Global Executive and Hispanic Markets, Management and Strategic Leadership, Marketing and Sales Management and Telecommunications and Network System Administrator, offered on-campus and online.

In June, the Doctoral Degree in Management will launch in Spanish or English through both on-campus and online.  In October, the graduate offerings will be further enhanced with new Doctoral degrees on all campuses.

Last January, AGMU initiated the English language modality to provide greater educational opportunities to our diverse student populations, including those whose native language is English. We are committed to meeting the needs of our students in all the areas that we serve.
