AGM University celebrated a momentous occasion on Sunday, June 6, when the prestigious institution held its annual graduation ceremony. The event, filled with pride, joy and a sense of accomplishment, marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication for the graduating class of 2023.
The ceremony, held at the prestigious Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando, was the perfect setting for the occasion. Graduates, their families, esteemed guests, faculty members and university staff gathered to honor and applaud the achievements and honor more than 600 students graduating with associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The diverse community came together in unity to celebrate the important milestones achieved by these students from the three Florida campuses in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami Lakes, as well as online graduates.
Student success stories, motivational messages and congratulations from Ana G. Mendez University faculty and administrators were presented on the central screen at the venue. The class of 2023 entered the room as the traditional song Pomp and Circumstance played in the background.
Ana G. Mendez University President Jose F. Mendez Mendez delivered a speech in which he recognized the important contributions and impact of the graduating students. He spoke passionately about the importance of diversity, inclusion and cultural representation in higher education and in society at large.
The opening remarks were delivered by Professor Sharon Diaz, while the reflection was given by student Ronaldo Ortiz. The ceremony's protocol messages were presented by Dr. Gisselle Tapia Fernández, Dean of Academic Affairs, Jadyrah Escobar, Acting Vice Rector of Student Affairs, and Syndia Nazario Cardona, Acting Rector.
As a highlight of the ceremony, each graduate proudly walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. The audience erupted in thunderous applause and cheers celebrating the achievements of these remarkable individuals and their impact on the Hispanic community in the United States.

Friday, June 2, 2023, marked a momentous day for AGM University Online Spanish Division as it celebrated its annual commencement ceremony at the prestigious Puerto Rico Convention Center.
