Canvas for Students

First, we are excited to announce that AGMU will transition to the Canvas Learning Management System from Blackboard. Canvas is the leading LMS system with advanced features, reliable performance, and excellent student support. In addition, we will provide support to our students through our Virtual Walk to Class and various Canvas training. Canvas will also allow for greater communication with Career Placement, Success Coaches/Retention Officers, and your faculty. We know many of you have used this platform and have shared that you find it easier to navigate. We are eager to have one unified LMS for all students on all campuses beginning this fall!

CANVAS Technical Requirements

Operating System requirements:
Windows 7 (minimum) / OSX 10.6 (minimum)

Browser requirements:
Chrome 102 and 103
Firefox 100 and 101

Edge 101 and 102 / Safari 14 and 15 (Macintosh only) will work, but are not recommended.

Device requirements:
Laptop or Desktop computer. Please do not rely only on a Tablet or Mobile Device (Apple, Android) as your only access to Canvas.
