Ana G. Méndez University participated in the XXIV Seminar of the Latin American Association of Teaching and Research in Social Work (ALAEITS), held from October 13 to 16, 2025, in Santiago, Chile.
Dr. Débora Fontánez-Flecha, Professor and Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Social Work, and Prof. Luz D. Miranda Vázquez, Professor and Coordinator of Practice of the Master’s Program, represented the institution.
During the event, they presented the paper “Challenges and Opportunities in Virtual Graduate Education in Social Work from Teaching Practice”, under the theme “Graduate Education: Academic and Professional Scopes and Challenges.”
The participation aimed to share research findings on changes in graduate programs and teaching processes in virtual learning environments.
