Ana G. Méndez University Represents at Tallahassee Event

In an event held on December 6th in Tallahassee, representatives from Ana G. Méndez University made a significant impact on the dialogue surrounding higher education in Florida. The primary objective of this event was to facilitate discussions between representatives, senators, and students from private colleges and universities in the state.

Ana G. Méndez University was proud to have Jean Román Santos, a second-year student in the Criminology program at our Metro Orlando campus, represent our institution. Jean took the opportunity to share his academic journey with senators and representatives, highlighting the benefits of our bilingual education format and how it is preparing him for his future career aspirations in law enforcement.

Ana G. Méndez University was part of a distinguished group of over 20 institutions participating in this event, thanks to our affiliation with the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges. Representatives from AGMU, including Dr. Glorivette Pérez and Mrs. Jadyrah Escobar, played an essential role in advocating for the importance of higher education in the state of Florida.
